about

"The Gaia theory posits that the Earth is a self-regulating complex system involving the biosphere, the atmosphere, the hydrospheres and the pedosphere, tightly coupled as an evolving system. The theory sustains that this system as a whole, called Gaia, seeks a physical and chemical environment optimal for contemporary life."
(Wikipedia)

This work was inspired by the Gaia theory which was formulated by the environmentalist James Lovelock and co-developed by the microbiologist Lynn Margulis.

"The Gaia Theory is a journey in truly beautiful sound... that, as a whole, makes me think of geodesic domes filled with flora and fauna... kind of like that Bruce Dern film "Silent Running"."

Felix Pharand-Deschenes (the founder of Globaia) created a fantastic visualisation of the human influence on our planet and decided to use an excerpt of "Into Biosphere" as background music. I feel very honoured.
